Remember this
national news story during the elections in 2008? John Hammons, 19 years old at the time, was elected as mayor of a town of 38,000: Muskogee, OK. Most people probably dismissed it as a fluke, even though he won in a landslide victory. I thought I'd check in on the young mayor. Looks like he has at least proven his mettle to his townspeople, clinching a
second term with another big win.
