Francis Chan in Mexico City
I became a Francis Chan fan after spending the weekend hosting him and his daughter here in Mexico City. He began to win me over sharing how his church is reaching out to their community and coming alongside other ministries to meet the needs of the poor and the homeless.
After browsing through a few of his websites today, I thought I'd share some with you all. Below is a great video from his site www.juststopandthink.com.
I was also converted as a Rachel Chan fan - probably the sharpest 12-year-old I've ever met. Here is her acting debut, starring as Francis.

I have been a Francis Chan "fan" for about two years now. A lot of what they do and how they lead at Cornerstone helps me to frame my approach to my job here at Faith. How I have "seen" him live his life has shaped a lot of the way that I have grown in mine, as he does a great job of pointing people to Christ through word and deed. I would have loved the opportunity to host him and pick his brain for about 30 minutes (I would take a lot longer but I assume he would be a fairly busy guy).
I highly recommend his book Crazy Love, great gift to new believers and those with questions.
Nice bro. Francis has a sensitive heart and listens closely to the Spirit. Just hanging around him made me do a heart check on myself to see how well I'm listening to Jesus.
