On the Cusp of Citywide Transformation

It's heating up down here! (And I'm not talking about the weather...unfortunately, since it's been fairly cold here lately.) Today, I had a long-awaited appointment with David Tamez, the head of the Purpose Driven Network in Latin America. We each shared our visions for the city and what God had called us to focus on. As our visions aligned, the plans to move forward with a complete and specific process for citywide transformation became clear...more details coming soon. This is the real deal people. Pray for Mexico City, as a God-sized movement here will impact all of Latin America.

Former Exxon executive and Latin American Council representative (and good friend) Rick Brekelbaum joined us at our meeting, along with Tom and Joy Harriger from Student Venture's Global Venture and Jorge Dorcas, the head of the Jesus Film Project in Mexico.

Rich Lotterhos also helped us prepare for this massive undertaking by explaining the process of transformation preparation with a small network of pastors yesterday. Rich has blessed our team tremendously over the last week by walking us through the Birkman, an analysis that every team should go through. Rich is a Birkman guru, along with Erin Layne. Each of them blessed our team with their knowledge and insight!

Cool!
I love Birkman. Well not Mr. Birkman, but his stuff.
