One Last View of "The Call"

"It's not a festival. It's a fast."

I just love that description of "The Call", the one day gathering of nearly 100,000 young people in Nashville, TN on 7/7/07. I watched several episodes of the event on God TV (which is pretty sweet, by the way). What a powerful display of men and women crying out to God for revival in this land. For 14 hours they repented, rejoiced, sang, danced, prophesied, wept, and worshiped. I wish I could have experienced it firsthand.

I did join in worship with them during the final few hours of the event (Episode 13 on God TV). They sounded 300 shofars (horns taken from a kudu - antelope). They cried out to God. Then Ramey Whalen sang a new song called, "Praises Rise". Love that song.

You can still catch the event online until August 7th.

Joe... I was there, and let me tell you it was amazing as it looks. Did you catch the part where Jaeson prays for the college students? I was able to help pass out his books (have you gotten one yet??) and I was so encouraged praying and sending these people out to their campuses. Amazing. Anyway... blessings friend!

That's so awesome that you went Emmy Lou!! I tried to find Jaeson but was unsuccessful. Can you tell me at about what point of the event he spoke? I'd like to see him.

Joe...
Well, He spoke at around 8pm... I don't know if that helps you but it's towards the end. It was very short, maybe 30 seconds or so, so it's understandable if you can't find it. Jaeson rocks tho :) It was good to finally meet the one I'd been praying for for so long :) Although, I've been praying for you longer and I still haven't met you yet :)

Keep rockin my friend!!
