Campus Crusade for Christ just announced a sweet deal to anyone who can offer some ideas about how to use Facebook to point people to an evangelistic website. Go for it and win an iPod!
While you're at it, use some tech skills to put together an application that will help students launch movements. Then let me know when you've put it together.
Here is Crusade's challenge:
A chance to win an iPod nano and help reach your campus!!
We want to move thousands of students to www.everystudent.com. We could buy flyers on Facebook, but their rates just went sky high. So we're looking for other ways to speak to students on Facebook, that might move students to check out specific articles on www.everystudent.com or the site as a whole.
For everyone who comes up with an idea that is selected as a great idea, everystudent.com will send that person a free iPod nano* as our thank you for your time and effort.
You have to have a specific idea (can't just say, "use Facebook groups"). You have to really spell out or develop your idea with an example, so we understand it, so we can picture it.
And it must be an idea likely to reach more students on campus than just your friends (no offense to your friends). It needs to be somewhat viral, reaching lots of students on campus, ideally thousands.
Email your idea, your name and mailing address to: marilyn.adamson@uscm.org.
*iPod nano - 8GB, holds 2,000 songs, 25,000 photos, 24 hrs battery life, plays audio books and podcasts.
