Wow. Lots of action near me these days. The good guys just arrested a drug lord in charge of 300 drug traffickers in Mexico. He was having a nice little dinner in an Argentinian steakhouse near my place.
In 1999, this guy (Juan Carlos de la Cruz Reyna) cornered a DEA agent and an FBI agent and threatened to kill them with a submachine gun if they didn't turn over an informant. They managed to escape, which I doubt Juan Carlos will be able to do now that he's in custody.
