Another Meeting with the Prophet

I met with my new prophetic pastor friend tonight. No, no new visions this time. Just some good 'ol prayer and planning.

I really like this guy. He deeply loves the Lord and wants to see churches planted all over the city. He made our ministry an official branch of his 21-church network, and we just mapped out an action plan for the next two months. How many pastors would do that having known you for only 10 minutes?

Here's another interesting tidbit about Habakuk. He graduated from college and started working as a civil engineer. He had a successful business when the Lord called him to the ministry full-time. He worked a lot with Campus Crusade and Athletes in Action in Mexico, even as a civil engineer. I empathized with him having my degree in Construction Science and Management. Engineering is a tough place for an apostle/prophet to find satisfaction.

He sold me when he quoted Ephesians 4:11. Man, these Mexicans are about 50 years ahead of the church in the West. (More ranting on that later, once I've formulated my thoughts so as to offend as few people as possible.)
